It was green beer and good times as The Old English Pub celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in Thonglor.

After a muted 2020 St. Paddy’s party – which came one day before all of Thailand closed down due to emerging coronavirus pandemic – 2021 saw lots of smiles and relaxed nerves. Certainly, Thailand is not back to normal, but seeing the pandemic slipping in to the rear-view mirror instead of looming on the road ahead made for a much more festive mood.

Of course, copious amounts of beer helped. The Old English offered pints of Chainbreaker IPA in a holiday green hue. It looked ghastly, but tasted oh so good!

Crowds filled the outside patio and indoor tables throughout the day with everyone eating, drinking and being merrily Irish for the day.
